Overview:
FOCUS ON LLC is seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for negotiating and coordinating the transportation of goods between shippers and carriers.

**Duties**:

- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to secure the best prices for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers
- Coordinate shipments and track deliveries to ensure timely transport of goods
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize logistics operations
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

**Skills**:

- Experience in freight, transportation sales, or logistics
- Proficiency in customer relationship management
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for shipping perishable goods (nice-to-have)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) operations

Pay: $45,105.72 - $92,750.98 per year

Compensation package:

- Commission pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

- Elgin, IL 60123: Relocate before starting work (required)
