Duties and Responsibilities:

- Proactively greet guest, groups of guests, and schools within earshot with a warm welcome.
- Fully explain what guests of the Dairy/Pig Adventure will experience during their bus tour utilizing script.
- Guide guests on what activities to do after their bus tour experience utilizing script.
- Ensure buses are clean, functional and safe.
- Obtain and share accurate dairy/pig knowledge with guests and co-workers.
- Solve problems as they occur.
- Work in a fast-paced environment being engaged, present and attentive to all guests.
- Professionally, politely, and positively communicate to guests and co-workers.
- Manage time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from company standard operating procedures and/or management.
- Command attention and take the lead with group leaders and teachers.
- Stay organized in manner, with materials, and company property.
- Stay in constant communication with other departments informing them of guest’s activities and their desires.
- Multitask and anticipate the needs of guests.
- Communicate departmental improvement ideas or safety concerns to management.
- Comfortable working with all ages and demographics.

Job Requirements:

- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B or higher.
- Any and all endorsements/requirements required for safe, legal operation of tour buses. (i.e. Passenger & Air Brake endorsements; current DOT Physical)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving commercial vehicles.
- Minimum 2 years’ in a customer service type position.
- Able to perform pre-trip inspection on buses and record.
