Job Title: Camp Driver

Reports to: Summer Camp Director

Incarnation Camp is seeking a responsible and reliable individual to join our team as a Camp Driver for the upcoming summer season. Located in Ivoryton (Essex), CT, Incarnation Camp spans over a picturesque 700-acre property featuring a mile-long private lake. As the oldest continuously running co-ed summer camp in the United States, Incarnation Camp has been dedicated since 1886 to providing enriching experiences that foster the physical and emotional growth of campers.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
June 9th - Aug 17th (10 weeks total)
- Scheduled workdays vary depending on camp needs, typically starting early in the morning and ending in the evening.

Summary:
The Camp Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of campers, staff, and supplies to various locations both on and off camp property. Responsibilities include driving campers to medical appointments, horseback riding sessions, and other off-site activities, as well as providing transportation for staff on their days off, picking up and dropping off mail, and assisting with supply pick-ups as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

- Safely transport campers, staff, and supplies to designated locations.
- Picking up and dropping off Mail
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during transportation.
- Assist with loading and unloading of passengers and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with camp leadership regarding transportation needs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
- Responsible and reliable individual with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a residential camp setting.
- Experience working with children preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per month
