Do you want to help adults go from surviving to thriving? Develop deep relationships with

people (our Leaders) to support their growth. Work with volunteers (Allies) who are

intentional friends and accountability partners, and share their social capital? Circles RVA

is searching for an enthusiastic professional who has a wide range of abilities including

working with local partners to recruit Leaders (program participants), leading weekly large

group meetings, supporting small groups consisting of a Leader and their 2 Allies,

collecting, and analyzing data, working independently and on a team, and embracing

change.

Circles RVA is a young, volunteer-led, evolving organization that aims to equip and

inspire individuals and families to permanently move out of poverty and thrive. This is a

remote, 20-25 hour-a-week, part-time position with weekly in-person Tuesday nights,

occasional events, board meetings, and other activities on nights or weekends. Based on

experience, the hourly rate is $25-$30/hour with PTO.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to problem solve and exercise good discretion
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex tasks with autonomy
- Ability to work with individuals and groups of all ages, skills, and personalities
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
- Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Commitment to Circles RVA’s mission and goals

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Two years experience in human services or a related field
- Prior experience working collaboratively with volunteers
- Prior experience with program management

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
