**JOB SUMMARY**:
Harbor Nissan is seeking a Full Time Used Car Technician to join our team at our Port Charlotte, FL location. This is a key role within our dealership that requires a skilled individual with a strong background in the auto industry. As a Used Car Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on used vehicles to ensure they are in top condition for our customers. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
- Test components and system, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect used vehicle trade-ins.
- Perform new vehicle inspections

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
- Outstanding attention to detail with commitment to quality.
- Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats.
- Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience.
- Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
