Dispatch Manager

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Manage the daily dispatching of vehicles and drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Coordinate with customers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Monitor vehicle locations using GPS and GIS systems to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams, drivers, to ensure smooth operations
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, coordinating with mechanics as needed
- Provide guidance and support to dispatch team members, fostering a positive work environment

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in transportation management, dispatching, or logistics
- Proficiency in using WellRyde/Modivcare
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during operations
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers, drivers, and internal teams
