Industrial Insulator

**Industrial Insulator / Back Position C Class**
- Basic knowledge of SIMKO rules, procedures, safety, written and un-written industry best practices.
- Safe operation of overhead & jib cranes.
- Safe operation of company forklifts.
- Safe operation of company vehicles.
- Safe load binding of all loads. (i.e. Chains, nylon ratchet straps and guards)
- Proper handling of finished material for zero insulation damage.
- Light bolting wrench work as needed.
- Able to work independently.
- Basic rigging and safe handling of material including calculating proper rigging and devices to be used.
- Maintaining a safe and clean worksite.
- Basic oxy fuel cutting activities.
- Basic understanding of insulating duties.
- Basic knowledge of cut to length sizes of insulation to be used.
- Basic knowledge of types of covers insulated including proper identification of covers name.
- Basic knowledge of types of insulation folds used during insulating activities.
- Basic knowledge of concrete operations during castings.
- Basic understanding on how to assist during team activities.
- Basic understanding to keep front insulator supplied with materials.
- Basic knowledge of scaffolding / ladder / work platform setup and break down.
- Following directions / Proper communication with Supervision / Team Lead
- Operation of forklift to load / unload cargo.
- Basic loading operations with overhead crane and forklift.
- Basic knowledge of company paperwork.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools (i.e. grinders, measuring instruments, hand drills, miter wood saw, concrete mixer, etc.)
- General mathematics.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
