Primary Construction is a small utility installation company based in Mesa, AZ. We are looking for motivated operators and groundmen. Primary Construction performs a variety of different projects related to utilities (electric, water, sewer, gas) and the ideal applicant is flexible and has a good general knowledge of construction tools and practices, and is willing to perform multiple duties.

Work includes operating equipment (excavator, loader, skid steer, trencher, hydrovac), placing both dry and wet utilities, backfill, some concrete work, and general grading. General knowledge and experience of excavation practices from setting pipe laser, to shoring, to laying pipe is expected.

We are a small company and you will work in close relationship with the owners. Starting pay will be based off of experience, but motivated employees who are willing to work hard and learn will see pay raises regularly as they grow with the company.

CDL is a plus.

Occasional overnight travel out of the valley may be necessary, but room/ board/ per diem will be provided.
