**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Collaborating with other staff, faculty, and administrators.
- Developing strong, ongoing relationships with college admissions personnel, particularly at institutions that nurture and boast diverse populations.
- Traveling to college campuses and various local, regional, and national conferences.
- Showing a commitment to engaging with and learning from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Responsibility for assisting with Upper School standardized testing; serve as the AP Coordinator.
- Attending school and community-wide events to better connect with students and families and to become a visible and integral part of the school community.
- Developing and writing personalized recommendation letters for selected seniors (approximately 40-50 students).
- Maintaining resources and connections for a wide array of student interests.
- Ability to help students and families build a well-rounded and robust list of colleges and post-secondary programs, recognizing that each student’s goals are unique.
- Possible teaching duties and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in college admissions, financial aid or college counseling.
- A solid knowledge of need-based financial aid and Naviance, preferred.
- A commitment to equity and inclusion and have experience working with a diverse student population.
- The ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support college counseling programs and travel to colleges and conferences.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment
- Subject to a Child Protection Services screening prior to employment
- Subject to a MSDE Employment History Review screening for Child Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct
