**Job Title**: Construction **Field** Superintendent

**Job Summary**: The Construction Superintendent for Construction & Engineering supervises on-site construction activities conducted by contractors. This role oversees scheduling, material and equipment procurement, cost and time requirements, conflict resolution, and ensures adherence to build-out specifications. The Construction Superintendent maintains effective communication with owners, tenants, landlords, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate scheduling, receipt of materials and equipment, cost and time requirements, and the resolution of conflicts to ensure efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with owners and tenants to discuss build-out specifications and plans for improvements, mediating between landlords and tenants to determine a feasible plan of action.
- Estimate build-out projects, including labor, supplies, materials, and ancillary costs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Implement cost-effective project management techniques and strategies to optimize project outcomes and minimize expenses.
- Delegate tasks to construction teams as necessary, providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain a daily job site log to track progress, issues, and resolutions, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and approve all construction services and activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain a strict build-out construction schedule, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes or unexpected circumstances.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate groups, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex construction projects.
- Design expertise and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation and project planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and handle complex issues effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to construction projects.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
