Elevate Senior Services is a locally owned and operated home-care agency seeking to expand services in Pulaski, Clinton, Carroll, White, and Tippecanoe Counties. We are looking for an experienced, consistent, and compassionate caregiver to assist clients with personal care tasks, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship.
Minimum Qualifications and requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Valid Driver's License required
- 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting aging and/or disabled community members.
- Submit to drug screening, tuberculosis testing, and background checks with satisfactory results in accordance with the Indiana State Department of Health, Indiana FSSA, and company policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and competence to provide services according to the client's plan of care.
Position Overview: Provide support and care to clients unable to perform daily activities due to physical or mental limitations. Assist with basic needs such as personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and companionship.
- Address clients needs with respect and attention to safety.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as washing dishes, sweeping/mopping, laundry, and dusting.
- Help with meal preparation, planning, and grocery shopping.
- Engage with clients in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity.
- Complete daily documentation requirements properly and on-time.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes to clients' health/abilities to the Elevate Senior Services Manager via incident report forms.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 50 per week
