Art Studio Assistant

We're seeking a studio assistant focused on social media and general art studio management (organization, marketing assistance, and occasional onsite project help). Help us grow, engage, and retain followers and convert them into leads, fans, and, most importantly, mural clients.

**ABOUT PINKY WEBER STUDIO**:
We are a Venice Beach-based artist studio working across multiple disciplines —murals/street art, illustration, and custom-designed products for retail and wholesale. Our primary focus is painting custom murals (75% of our work).

**CANDIDATES MUST BE**:

- Interested in street art and illustration and align with our brand
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, and highly organized with a can-do approach
- Quick learners with excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
- Possess a sense of humor and overall positive attitude

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Able to work 20+ hours a week and keep up with daily operations
- Have a driver's license and vehicle; able to commute to Venice 3x per week (ideally from the west side of LA)
- Not have more than one other freelance/part-time job (this is important for safety reasons as being exhausted while working on scaffolding/ladders is extremely dangerous)
- Able to lift/move heavy items and not afraid of heights
- Understand best practices and trends in social media marketing

**MANDATORY SKILLS**:

- Photo/video & editing skills (especially reels)
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing social media accounts professionally

**TASKS INCLUDE**:

- Edit and style photo/reel shoots (see our Instagram for examples)
- Post daily on a planned schedule and keep an organized archive of photos and videos.
- Strategize and implement new features to increase brand awareness
- Maintain an organized workspace
- Help Pinky stay on top of commissions, mockups, and deadlines
- Assist with onsite projects (setting up, documenting, etc)
- Experience using procreate and drawing skills
- Assist with illustrator and indesign art files (not required but a plus)
- Help manage etsy store

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:

- Work directly with Pinky and her miniature wiener dog, Cannoli
- Fluctuating daily schedule, generally 10 am-7 pm (May work in evenings occasionally if we are painting on site.)
- Studio located in Venice Beach, two blocks from Abbott Kinney
- Gated parking spot available

- Autonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little direction

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
