PLAY ABA is a small, family owned & operated ABA practice, working with toddlers and children with developmental delays due to Autism or similar disorders. We are different from most ABA companies. There are no investors, no board, and no unnecessary red tape or obstructions to providing the very best ABA services possible.
- **GENERAL DESCRIPTION**:_ Using play based activities, the BT will provide the client opportunities to practice the skills/behaviors targeted in the program. A Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) defines the goals and works with you and the parent(s) to implement the plan.

A program typically runs for 6 months. The client is re-evaluated to measure progress and the BCBA uses this information to update the program and set additional goals as needed. We ask that BTs commit to completing a program period.**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to remain optimistic, even when progress is slow
- High energy, personable demeanor
- High school graduate 18+
- Valid driver's licenses & reliable transportation
- Take a TB and background check
- **HOURS AVAILABLE**:_hiring for 3 cases in the Menlo Park, CA area.
- Mon-Fri: 9:00am-11:00am (2 hrs/day = 10 hrs/wk.) case01
- Mon-Fri: 3:00pm-5:00pm (2 hrs/day = 10 hrs/wk.) case01
- Mon-Fri: 2:30pm-5:00pm (2.5 hrs/day = 12.5 hrs/wk. ) case02

- **Mon-Fri, 9-11am (10 hrs/wk.) 3-5pm (10 hrs/wk.)**:

- **Location**: Kindergarten Aftercare Program in Menlo Park, CA
- **Staffing Needs**:

- observant and a natural problem solver able to identify triggers and intervene in the least restrictive manner possible.
- Good at communicating with young children of different abilities (i.e. help friends talk through a disagreement)
- Physically fit enough to keep up with the client during recess
- **About the Case**:

- Fun and energetic 5 yr old
- high functioning Autism, ADHD and some motor delays
- Impulsiveness and emotional regulation issues contributing to conflicts with peers
- Client has a strong desire to connect and interact with others
- **Location**: Client’s home in Menlo Park, CA
- **About the Case**:

- Cooperative and sweet natured 3.5 yrs old
- developmentally at ~ 1yr.
- Also Significantly impacted by a gross motor disorder
- **Staffing Needs**:1 or 2 part-time BTs (morning and an evening sessions)
- Gymnast, Dancer, or Other gross motor/balance centric athlete **OR**:

- Student of: Occupational Therapy (OT) or OT Assistant (OTA) **OR**:

- Student of: Physical Therapy (PT)or PT Assistant (PTA) **ETC**:

- **Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-5:00pm (2.5 hrs/day = 12.5 hrs/wk. )**:

- **Location**: Aftercare Program at Elementary school in Atherton, CA
- **Staffing Needs**:Must have patience and the ability to handle slow progress.
- Great opportunity for a student of any speech or communications related field. ( i.e. SLP, SLPA, speech therapy, language specialist, etc )
- **About the Case**:

- 11 yr old with significant communication delays
- Focus on conversation skills with peers and ability to retell
- **Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-6:00pm (4.5 hrs/day = 22.5 hrs/wk. )**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
