**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan machining operations.
- Set up CNC milling machines, including loading materials, fixtures, and tooling.
- Install, align, and adjust cutting tools and holders as necessary.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper execution of programmed instructions.
- Adjust machine settings, feeds, speeds, and tool offsets as needed for optimal performance.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes of machined parts against specifications.
- Identify and address deviations from quality standards, making necessary adjustments.
- Detect and troubleshoot machine errors or malfunctions during operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing tooling components.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of production activities, setup details, tool changes, and inspection results.
- Provide regular updates on production progress and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with specific experience operating Mazak milling machines strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and Mazatrol language.
- Familiarity with Mazak-specific controls and operating systems is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet production goals.
- Prioritize safety and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
- Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
