**POSITION TITLE**:Treatment Director

The Treatment Director serves as supervisor for the clinical team; develops, trains, executes, monitors and reports on treatment services/programs for each client, works closely with the Program Administrator to ensure that high-quality, cost-effective programs are designed and implemented. Supervise and support services according to the requirements of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) childcare contract, Health and Human Services Commissions (HHSC) minimum standards and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The services must support the client’s service plan and child’s plan of service requirements to include behavioral health, life skills’ programs, mental wellness, academic programs, and vocational and recreational activities, cultural competence, maintaining connections and contact with siblings and family visits. The Treatment Director works closely with the Program Director and Program Administrator to ensure that high-quality, cost-effective programs are designed and implemented with regulatory compliance. Assures the continuity of care for clients, appropriate health referrals and providing necessary information and documentation for admission, discharge and/or transition to receiving units, facilities or agencies.

**Essential Responsibilities and Accountability**:

- Understand and comply with CARF requirements.
- Has comprehension and knowledge of all regulatory requirements to include contract, minimum standards and accreditation with target implementation goal of 100% compliance;
- Responsible for the overall treatment program, including clinical responsibility for the management of the facility’s therapeutic interventions.
- Read and understand Minimum standards for clarity, comprehension and implementation for compliance.
- Read and understand CPS Contract for clarity, comprehension and implementation for compliance.
- Prepare admission assessments, 72-hour service plans and all other required service plans.
- Review and approve any service plans completed by treatment coordinator.
- Provides or oversees treatment services for clients with intellectual disabilities.
- Provides or oversees treatment services for client’s primary medical needs and hospitalizations.
- Provides or oversees treatment services for client’s emotional disorders.
- Oversees the treatment of all clients receiving treatment services.
- Facilitator of the monthly treatment team meetings.
- Ensure clients receive effective weekly individual and group therapy.
- Communicate effectively with others and deter gossip and negativity that impacts clients, staff and the workplace.
- Supervise and support case management services.
- Supervises allbehavioral health therapists providing treatment service.
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all clients and their records.
- Complete duties in a professional and timely manner meeting all deadlines.
- Oversee the details and activities of HWHF Programs as assigned.
- Audit and complete quality reviews monthly of all client case files and ensure required documents are filed in client’s charts.
- Plan, arrange and monitor specific therapies required to implement service plan and plan of service requirements.
- Develop and facilitate staff development and training programs to provide staff with information, tools and knowledgeable to help them effectively implement service plan requirements, i.e., behavioral tools, diagnosis, coping skills, and Contract requirements. Etc.
- Enter and update data into HWHF systems and DFPS systems such as Health Passport and extendedReach as needed.
- Prepare monthly reports on the progress of each client and provide to Case workers per requirements.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reviews by Youth for Tomorrow.
- Schedule, monitor and supervise therapy services provided by behavioral health providers and ensure required documentation is provided.
- Coordinate and facilitate staff training and discussions regarding clients’ treatment needs and diagnosis.
- Coordinate and supervise volunteers and students that are a part of an internship from a university or college program.
- Manage all Program activities that fall within the treatment scope of the program.
- Immediately report any concerns or issues, including alleged abuse, that affect the milieu of the facility to the Program Administrator.
- Ensure and maintain safety of property belonging to and on HWHF grounds.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Work with treatment teams to create individual service plans
- Monitor emotional needs of clients/clients and makes appropriate recommendations
- Effective usage of computers
- Knowledge & practice of Accreditation, Contract Requirements and Licensing
