Drafter (Cad Tech 3-4)

**Civil Design Drafter**

We are looking for a dynamic drafter to join our company. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers to create the first draft of a technical design. You'll use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create drawings and designs.

To ensure success as a drafter, you should be able to use design principles to create technical drawings that bring the engineer's ideas to life. Ultimately, a top-notch drafter should have excellent knowledge of CAD software, and the ability to conceptualize design with meticulous attention to detail.

**Drafter Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to prepare detail drawings on schedule.

**Design Drafter Requirements**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Revit and other 3D design software’s a plus.
- Knowledge on detailing of Steel structures and Concrete Rebar detailing.
- Knowledge in civil design. Site grading, levees and swale a plus.
- Complete understanding of project drawings from concept to completion with mínimal supervision.
- Complete knowledge of design, drafting standards and procedures.
- Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures.
- Possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting structural analysis and identifying potential issues.
- Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
