Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This position requires strong knowledge of medical coding, billing systems, and medical terminology. Dermatology medical billing experience preferred.

**Duties**:

- Review and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT) to procedures and diagnoses
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit when necessary
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
- Collaborate with medical office staff to resolve billing issues
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding and billing regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT)
- Familiarity with medical collection systems and processes
- Proficient in using electronic medical billing software
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
