Procurement Specialist

Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct supplier evaluations
- Utilize procurement system, Epicor Eclipse, to streamline processes and track purchases
- Fabricate and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with Sales team to optimize product assortment to maximize sales and work within the Operations team to optimize inventory levels
- Source new suppliers and maintain a supplier database
- Stay up-to-date on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to achieve the best value for the organization

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or.years of experience
- Proven 3-5+ years of experience in procurement management and supplier/vendor management
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to forge beneficial contracts
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and supply chain principles

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working purchasing plumbing or other building materials
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Proficiency in contract management and vendor relationship building

Pay: $59,000.00 - $77,500.00 per year
