Salesperson Job Description

Overview:
I.W. Harding Construction Co., Inc. is a general contractor with 40+ years of experience performing site, road, and utility work all over New England. We've recently launched a materials division, selling screened loam and processed gravel, and accepting disposals of asphalt, concrete, raw loam, and compost. We're seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team and help grow this division of our company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive sales by identifying and pursuing new clients
- Market our products and generate awareness for this new division
- Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain client relationships
- Negotiate sales of varying sizes, both wholesale and retail

**Requirements**:

- Experience in material, soil, and aggregate purchasing and sales
- Vast network of contacts in the landscaping, construction, and materials industries
- Track record of success in sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

**This job is part time, commission-driven. There is no required amount of hours, as long as sales numbers are strong. It is intended as a remote position, but obviously the nature of sales could require in-person meetings. Additionally, maintaining an occasional presence at our yard in West Bridgewater would be welcome.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to $20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
