JOB DESCRIPTION: Part-Time Public Works Employee

REPORTS TO: Public Works Director

HOURS: 20 - 25 Hours/Week

PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour, DOE; _CDL PREFERRED_

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but are not limited to):
1. Maintains Parks and Grounds: complete trash pick-up, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, brush removal, and related activities.

2. Roads and Ditches: Complete projects involving moderate to heavy physical labor and light and heavy equipment operation including patching potholes, mowing and maintaining roadside right of ways, culvert installation, and brush pick-up.

3. Snow removal and salting of village grounds and roads during and after snow events.

4. Performs any other duties as required.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
1. Ability to work safely;
2. Ability to communicate effectively verbally;
3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public;
4. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions;
5. Ability to work well with others and without direct supervision.

DEADLINE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Truck driving: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
