JMS Management, Inc. provides administrative support services to Hart to Heart Transportation and its related entities operating primarily in the Baltimore Metropolitan Region. The Accounts Payable Specialist provides support to the Chief Financial Officer in the financial management of Hart to Heart Transportation and its related entities.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Process accounts payable for multiple entities timely and in accordance with corporate policy
- Process payroll and provide payroll assistance on a biweekly cycle
- Ensure compliance with quarterly and annual payroll and accounts payable filing
- Process loan payments, bank account transfers, and ACH transactions
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare and process daily bank deposits
- Retrieve and process the daily mail
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Manage reporting weekly as required
- Other accounting duties and projects assigned by the Chief Financial Officer as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Minimum of three years accounts payable / accounting experience

**Other Qualifications**:

- Experience working within a sound internal control structure
- Demonstrate initiative necessary to properly complete assigned duties
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of a function
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite products with an emphasis on Excel skills
- Knowledge and ability to effectively use QuickBooks
- Prior experience with Paycom payroll service a plus
- Prior experience with Traumasoft a plus
- Good written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and staff
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
