**Automotive Bodyshop Painter/Helper**

**Compensation**: $40,000 - $50,000/ Year

**Hours**:Shop hours 7:00am -6:00pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists Painters with wet sanding, buffing, and polishing.
- Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare
- vehicle for painting.
- Thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle.
- Works and communicates with the paint team on vehicle status. Perform quality
- repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
- Performs quality prep work, (using abrasives, solvents, brushes, washing tanks,
- tape, masking paper, etc)
- Disassemble, clean and reassemble sprayers and power equipment
- Participates in all required safety meetings
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in buffing required
- Strong automotive background
- Able to work in a fast paced, high energy environment and deliver high quality
- work.
- Ability to properly complete light to heavy repairs
- Self motivated
- Previous experience in an Auto Body Shop required
- Able to work on any size repair Must be able to work with a team
- Must be able to work with a team
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must be 18 or over
