Salad Prep

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Salad Prep to join our team in the food industry. As a Salad Prep, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our salads by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal preparation. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for salads, including washing, chopping, and slicing vegetables
- Assist with meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met throughout the preparation process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Assist cooks and chefs as needed in the preparation of menu items
- Follow menu planning guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Shift:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Weekly day range:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

- Oceanport, NJ 07757: Relocate before starting work (required)
