**FORKLIFT OPERATOR - DAYS - WAUKESHA**

As a **Full-time Day shift Forklift Operator in our Plant areas**, you will play a key role in our ability to service our customers on a timely basis. This position is important, as you will be directly involved in our ability to process and deliver our recyclable materials to our customers. **Your weekdays will be spent operating a sit-down propane forklift as you stage and load a variety of our baled recyclable materials. We will cross train you to work throughout our facility to be able to fill-in wherever needed in our operation.**

We work a 4 day - 10-hour schedule in our production area. Your day off would be a day in the middle of the week.

**Responsibilities**
- Moving goods and materials from staging areas using both regular and rotating clamp propane sit-down forklifts. Rotating clamp experience would be a plus, but we can train you.
- Recording and maintaining inventory accurately through our automated inventory system.
- You may also be trained to operate a skid steer to assist in staging and loading materials when assigned to do so.
- All of our employees assist in housekeeping activities and are cross trained in multiple areas. Willingness to learn and flexibility to pitch in where needed will be essential in this position.

**Essential Functions**
- **At least one year of sit-down propane forklift experience required**, **in a fast-paced environment where you were primarily a forklift operator. **Experience moving heavier, large materials, like bales will be helpful to perform in this role. High degree of attention while driving required to prevent injury to others in a smaller production operation.
- Previous experience operating a skid steer/bobcat a plus to assist in other areas as needed.
- Ability to sometimes lift up to 50 pounds to position skids and gaylords.
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty. You will also be working in an open overhead door building that is seasonally hot and cold.
