Accounts Payable Specialist

Immediate opening for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist/Office Manager. MEC Electrical/MEC Technologies headquartered in Chelmsford, MA is celebrating 23+ years in business. MEC is one of New England's premier electrical, cabling and audio-visual contractors. MEC has a focus on commercial projects with a concentration on Health Care Facilities, Higher Education and Commercial buildings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable activity within both organizations.
- Scan, job cost and enter invoices into Sage Paperless Software.
- Manage and run reports as needed from Sage Timberline Accounting.
- Work with managers to resolve issues.
- Reconcile and close out purchase orders.
- Maintain important payment date records.
- Make payments as directed including ACH payments.
- Process employee expense reports and reimbursement.
- Manage cell phones/tablets billing, issues, upgrades, orders, etc. for field + office staff
- Manage vehicle fleet administrative tasks - payments, accident reports, insurance cards, WEX Cards, EZ Pass, etc.
- Main contact for some office vendors to set up / manager services
- Plan for repair of office equipment.
- Greet and direct visitors.
- Distribute incoming mail for 16-person office. Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Maintain office, break room & conference room supplies + organization
- Other miscellaneous administrative functions.

Requirements include:

- Professionalism and excellent organizational skills.
- At least 2 years of college or equivalent.
- Previously in similar role for at least 2 years.
- Must be a motivated individual, trustworthy and reliable.
- Previous Sage Timberline and/or Sage Paperless experience is a plus.
