ations. *Job Summary:*

an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all rail yard activities including the assembly and disassembly of trains, routing rail traffic, and ensuring the safety of all yard operations. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our rail services and ensuring schedules are met without compromising safety. *Responsibilities:*
- Oversee and coordinate the safe arrival, parking, and departure of rail cars within the yard.
- Manage the assembly of trains, ensuring that all cars are correctly ordered according to destination and priority.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce strict compliance with company and federal safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, conductors, and ground staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Use yard management systems and software to track train movements and maintain records of yard activities.
- Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise in the yard promptly and effectively.
- Train and supervise yard staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. *Qualifications:*
- Proven experience in railroad operations or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of rail operations and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
