**M Events is a leading global provider of B2B technology solutions for medical and scientific conferences, revolutionizing the way businesses connect and collaborate**. We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Account Managers with core expertise in the AV area.

**Confex has been strengthening the M-Group since the beginning of the year with its experience of more than 25 years in the field of abstract management and online platforms**. From the locations in Rhode Island and Washington DC, Confex distributes the entire portfolio of the M-Group in the USA and aims for significant growth in the coming years.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Sales Manager, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

- **Strategic Business Development**:Proactively acquire new customers and nurture long-term business relationships.
- **Product Expertise**:Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- **Networking**: Travel to client sites and conferences, and trade shows to build valuable networks and seize business opportunities.
- **Market Insights**:Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive developments to effectively position our offerings in the market.
- **Sales Excellence**:Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to both the company's growth and your personal income.
- **Client-Centric Solutions**:Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to precisely meet their requirements.
- **Sales Strategy**:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to boost sales within your designated area.
- **Marketing Collaboration**:Collaborate on the development of marketing strategies and sales promotion measures.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Lead contract and price negotiations with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- **Team Collaboration**:Work closely with our technical team to ensure the smooth implementation of solutions.
- **Performance Reporting**:Provide regular, insightful reports on sales activities and performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales or business development in the area of AV services.
- An excellent technical understanding and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Having prior experience in the field of medical conferences will facilitate the task at hand.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making processes.

- Twenty-five (25) paid days off per year. This includes 10 public holidays. The rest is available for vacation, illness or other personal needs. From the 3rd year onwards, the paid time off credit increases. Your length of service is calculated based on your original hiring date.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
