Responsible for ensuring successful academic and personal development of licensed practical nursing students through clinical instruction.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
1. Provides clinical instruction to the team members on the unit.
2. Creates a clinical environment which fosters team members learning.
3. Prepares team members orientation schedule.
4. Maintains accurate and timely attendance records and evaluates team member's progress. Maintains all mandatory education.
5. Implements unit education with devices, mock codes, hands on orientation.
6. Maintains professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned including taking charge on the unit, liaison for the Shared Governance committees.

8. Onboards new hires and mentors them throught the orienation process.

Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in acute care or relevant area.
3. BSN, BLS, or ACLS required. CALS within one year.

Preferred:
1. Master's degree in nursing or related field.
