**Job Summary**:
Hillpointe is seeking an In-House Paralegal with specialized experience in real estate and corporate matters to join our growing team This position will handle files from contract to closing real estate development transactions and corporate matters. This position requires someone who is able to multi-task while paying close attention to detail and deadlines; work independently, perform public record searches; draft documents and other related administrative duties, as needed. The position will report directly to and work closely with our General Counsel.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and revise real estate documents, including, but not limited to, purchase agreements, leases, contracts, and easements.
- Prepare and manage closing documents for real estate transactions.
- Title and Survey Review: Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of title documents and surveys, identify potential issues, and prepare title objections and responses.
- Work closely with title companies, surveyors, and other related parties to resolve any discrepancies and ensure clear property titles.
- Transactional Support: Assist in all phases of commercial real estate transactions including due diligence, financing, and closing.
- Manage and coordinate organizational structuring and the preparation of related documents.
- Assist in maintaining corporate records, including annual reports, resolutions and other corporate documents.
- Help prepare and file necessary corporate governance documents with relevant authorities.
- Deal Management: Handle multiple deals simultaneously, maintaining checklists, tracking critical deadlines, and ensuring smooth communication across all parties involved including lenders, local government agencies, and internal teams.
- Assist in managing and resolving legal issues and disputes related to property development and management.
- Analyze and summarize research findings to support legal decision-making and strategy.
- Oversee and manage proper record keeping both internally and with our vendors.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or Paralegal Certification.
- At least five years of experience as a paralegal, specifically with a strong background in commercial real estate, focusing on title and survey matters.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office including, Word, Outlook and Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and proactively resolve issues.
- A self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, contributing to a positive work culture and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to work onsite at Winter Park office location. This is an onsite position with the ability for a Hybrid once established.

**Working Conditions**:

- Applicants work in an office environment, but also may have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.

**Physical Demands**:

- Applicant must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the building and amenities.
- Applicant must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently.
- Routine local travel may be required to make business meetings, attend training classes, conferences, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

**Required Licenses or Certifications**:

- Applicants must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
- Applicants must have valid driver’s license to drive while visiting property.
