**Pre-K Teacher**

**FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE**

Come join our team The Goddard School of Stamford is a brand new preschool we opened in May 2023 and we seeking fun, experienced and qualified teachers for our Pre-K. We are specifically looking for teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements.

**_RESPONSIBILITIES_**
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
- Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
- Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self esteem and social skills
- Prepare a daily activity report for each child
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**_QUALIFICATIONS_**
- A High School Diploma is required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

**_SCHEDULE_**
- The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round
- Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stamford, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
