**Here’s what you’d do**:
The Sales Representative promotes and sells products/services to customers and represents the BrightView brand. This role is responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class landscaping services.
**You’d be responsible for**:
- Acquires new commercial customers through “door-to-door,” direct marketing, and other activities. Includes identifying prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
- Conducts proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers.
- Assists operational partners to negotiate contracts and pricing schedules with customers.
- Develops and presents sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers’ needs.
- Maintains positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
- Well-informed about our competitors' activities in assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs, marketing directives, or door-to-door sales tactics.
- Attends and successfully completes training programs.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Motivated and ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed in sales and achieve targets.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet and exceed goals.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent. Resilience in facing challenges and setbacks.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards sales and customer interactions.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and client needs. Willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to clearly convey information and persuade potential customers is crucial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Prior experience in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience is beneficial.
- Computer skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
