**Job Summary**:
The Specialist in Regulatory Affairs will be assigned to the Risk Analysis and Strategy group. Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of raw materials, formulas and will handle projects or other responsibilities aligned to make saleable products globally.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:
Gathering, generating, and managing technical information including formula, raw material (RM) regulatory documents etc.
Confirming information accuracy and regulation compliance of all collected documents from contract manufacture (CM).
Coding CM RMs into our internal system before product development based on collected documentation and CM formula information.
Evaluating formula for global regulation compliance and Shiseido policy compliance. Generating compliance report with our interpretation of the regulation and provide guidance to cross-functional team to maintain the product development timeline and smooth product launch.
Evaluating formula whether it meets sustainable policy or retailer’s clean policy and provide the result to Brands in a timely manner.
Supporting several projects in R egulatory Risk Analysis and Strategy group to organize product information.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:
BS or BA Chemistry or related field
3+ years of Regulatory experience
Excellent communication skills. Will need to be able to provide statements and/or Regulatory’s position in an easily comprehensible manner to cross-functional team.
Positive attitude towards learning new things even if it is not directly linked to your projects.
Speak up and raise concerns or unclear points to have yourself understood.
Must have excellent computer skills especially for excel skills.
Detail-oriented ; to ensure regulatory compliance.
Web and internet savvy; navigate through web to retrieve information.
Goal-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, strong organizational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
Experience in cosmetic/personal care, a plus.
