**Skill Requirements**

This job responsibility of the concrete mixer driver must be able to safety operate the truck and its auxiliary equipment such as levers, chutes and mixing drums. When picking up the materials to be loaded into the mixer, the driver must be able to manipulate the drum under the hoppers that dispense the cement, gravel, sand and water into it. Understand the mixing procedure and adjust the speeds on the mixer accordingly. The driver must know what materials should be in the blend and check the work order to ensure she is picking up the appropriate mixture.

**Job Duties**
- This position requires the driver to make deliveries on time, as other construction crews are depending on punctuality to keep the project on schedule.
- Must be responsive and self-confident in operating the levers and chutes to properly and evenly dispense the mixture into the prepared frame or opening.
- Variety of settings and conditions including uneven ground and may require unloading and attaching extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds to end of primary chute
- Maintenance of the truck, may regularly spray the truck and mixer exteriors with a non-stick agent to prevent concrete build up or wash them after each delivery to remove concrete spills and splashes.
- A Ready-Mix Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ready-mix truck used for delivery of products connected to the Company’s ready-mix concrete operation.

**Qualifications**
- Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A or B)
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- No DUI’s or DWI’s in the last 5 years, no more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- High school diploma, preferred - Bilingual a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
