**NPI Supply Chain Coordinator**

**The NPI Supply Chain Coordinator **represents Lafayette Supply Chain on the Product Group’s NPI team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, governing, and reporting Supply Chain’s participation in the NPI process. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain NPI process and leading any associated projects.

**Job Responsibilities, include but are not limited to**:

- Represent Supply Chain on the Core NPI teams, ensure NPI conformance on Order to Delivery processes, monitor and report NPI progress, hold Supply Chain, NPI & Design teams accountable for ensuring Order to Delivery deliverables are met for each NPI Gateway.
- Conducts Plan For Every Part (PFEP) Supply Chain Planning analysis to support new part released to the NPI Program.
- Will be responsible for communicating to all levels of the organization on status of Order To Delivery readiness and ensuring any issues that will negatively affect the process are escalated.
- Owns NPI Supply Chain process, identifies areas of improvement and lead projects to further develop and improve the process.
- Tracks NPI builds to ensure Order To Delivery Readiness and documents issues from the build and drives resolution.
- Tracks and reports on Purchasing/Logistics/PFEP related activities for NPI parts to support Job Readiness System process.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Experience is preferred in procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills are required in dealing with sensitive issues, developing others, and reaching consensus on specific actions.
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.
- Effective communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across all management levels
- Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems.
- Advanced knowledge and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power Point, Share Point, & Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an accredited curriculum and 1 year of relevant experience OR 5 years of relevant experience.
- A background in NPI, Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.
- Ability to thrive in an uncertain environment and work independently with a sense of urgency
- Develop a strategy & successfully deploy the strategy
- CPS, Six Sigma, or project team experience
- Previous experience in or exposure to Supply Chain
- Solid product knowledge
