**The Opportunity**

The **Events and Coordinator Intern** will work closely with the Events Team to support the management and organization of company-sponsored events, speaking opportunities, panels, and related logístical tasks. They will also be responsible for cost management, shipping logistics, scheduling pre and post-event meetings, and assisting in the overall execution of events. **This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.**

**What You'll Do**
- Managing and maintaining an events tracker to track all upcoming events, speaking opportunities, and panels.
- Conducting research to identify potential speaking opportunities and panels that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Coordinating with the Events Team to manage event budgets and ensure costs are within budgetary constraints.
- Facilitating the shipping of event materials and ensuring all necessary items are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Scheduling and coordinating pre and post-event meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Providing general support to the Events Team, including administrative tasks and possibly assisting with event setup and teardown.
- Assisting in the management of event leads and follow-up communications with attendees.

**Your Experience and Capabilities**
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and Share Point.
- Experience with event planning and logistics is a plus.
- A keen interest in marketing, events, and public speaking.
