Catering Staff

**Event Staff: Servers, Bartenders, Kitchen Support, Event Support - Summer 2024**

Heritage Catering is seeking event-based staff to assist our team during the busy summer season We work with corporate and private customers to create extraordinary dining experiences, including partnering with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra as the premier caterer for table patrons during the Concerts on the Square event series.

**OPPORTUNITIES & ROLES**:

- Kitchen Support: prepare food, build food boards Experience not necessary.
- Event Support: build event coolers and table baskets for Concerts on the Square events, organization between events, load & unload catering vehicles. Experience not necessary.
- Dishwasher. Experience not necessary.
- Kitchen Support: build food boards, replenish menu items, plate-up. Experience not necessary.
- Server/Food Runner: run food, pass appetizers, replenish food stations, bus. Experience not necessary.
- Concerts on the Square Table Captain: provide upscale customer service and interaction, open wine bottles, assist with table sales and service. Wait staff experience necessary.
- Bartender: tend bar from simple beer & wine menus to full open-bar liquor menus. Experience necessary; bartending license not required. Must be 21+.
- Event Support: load & unload vehicles, drive vehicles (CDL not required), troubleshoot maintenance issues, manage bussing station. Experience not necessary.

**CALENDAR**:
Kitchen Support & Event Support shifts available weekly to help prepare for events.

Concerts on the Square Events:

- 6 Wednesday evenings in summer: 6/26, 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31
- Rain dates on Thursday evenings: 6/27, 7/4 (yes), 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1
- Shifts are 3:30-9:30pm (food prep, Table Captains) or 5-9:30pm (Food Runners)

Additional Events (Summer 2024):

- 5/20, 6/7, 6/15, 6/20, 6/29, 7/12, 7/19, 8/24, 8/31

Our team is continually adding more events throughout the summer and beyond, with plenty of opportunities for additional shifts

**WAGES & BENEFITS**:
We offer wages ranging from $16-$25/hour. Base wage is dependent on the position and your experience level.
- $16/hour & up: Food Runners, Event Support, Kitchen Support
- $20/hour & up: Servers, Bartenders
- $25/hour: Table Captains (Concerts on the Square events)

**ABOUT US**:
We operate three businesses in the Madison area: Heritage Catering, Heritage Tavern, and Fox Heritage Farms. We are a family business at the core and have staff that have been with the company for many years. We bring on new staff each season to support our teams and enjoy cross-training staff across different areas of the business. We prioritize sourcing locally and raise our own hogs to maintain the closest connection of farm-to-table across our businesses.

Heritage Catering, based in Fitchburg, WI, has been providing upscale catering services to both private and corporate customers in and around the Madison area since 2012. We have been the Premier Caterer for Concerts on the Square for several seasons and look forward to another great season in 2024 Our team is growing and we are excited to welcome new members to execute successful events for our clients.

Heritage Tavern is an independent restaurant that is family owned and operated and located in the heart of downtown Madison, WI. We offer a sophisticated atmosphere with fine dining service and a fun craft cocktail bar. We have been successfully operating since 2013 with a rotating menu with fresh, farm-to-table influences and old world classics. We work with local ingredients from farmers in Dane County and high quality meats from our own animals and meat processing facility.

Fox Heritage Farms/Willow Creek is our meat processing facility and home office, located in Prairie du Sac. We have a central office at this location and operate a small meat market for the public. In partnership with small WI family farms, we breed and raise our Berkshire hogs on open pasture, without antibiotics or hormones. All products we sell are produced by our local team and out of our own meat processing facility. We sell products both wholesale and retail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
