**Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Relations - **Actively seeks to provide quality services that meet the needs of patients and patient care providers as well as other customers - payers, families, referrers, contractual parties and staff.
- **Development of Policies and Procedures** - Develops and oversees the administration of policies and procedures for assigned areas and ensures their integration with interrelated programs and services.
- **Compliance - **Ensures that office services and programs comply with the requirements of licensing, regulatory, and accreditation bodies. Keeps abreast of laws, regulations, and marketplace developments and trends which affect P.A. operations and fiscal solvency. Serves as the secretary for the Medical Executive Committee.
- **Leadership in Promoting Organizational Values - **Contributes toward the Institution's goals of team building, delegation of authority and responsibility, and individual empowerment through staff involvement in participatory decision-making within the office and across division lines.
- **Operational Management**
- **Completion of Assigned Annual Goals - **Develops, implements, and evaluates achievement of annual office goals which are consistent with organization goals.
**Requires**:
- Position requires a professional level of knowledge of administration, management, practice management, medical staff office management, project management and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in health services, administration, public health, business, or other appropriate field of study with 6 years of healthcare administration management experience; or a high school diploma with 10 years of healthcare administration management experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate expertise in medical staff office administration and related Joint Commission standards and policies.
- Work requires knowledge of health services administration, applicable local, state, federal laws and regulatory requirements, and psychiatric practices; strong information technology/systems skills; and knowledge of professional practice operations.
- Work requires interpersonal skills to work with senior leadership, medical leadership and other stakeholders for practice association governance, support processes and projects.
- This position requires problem-solving and conceptual skills sufficient to manage the new support processes and make recommendations for appropriate support staffing; to assist in developing and implementing administrative systems; to prepare short
