**Responsibilities**:

- The CIO is responsible for IT strategy, systems, security, data management, budgeting, leadership, and staying updated on emerging technologies.

**Duties**
- DCIO oversees acquisition, installation, and support of IT resources and services.
- Responsible for computers, software, data, networks, and web services.
- Manages cloud systems and infrastructure.
- Provides day-to-day operational support and user assistance.
- Conducts hardware and software research.
- Handles contract management.
- Writes policies and administrative documents.

**Preferred Experience**
- 5 years.

**Conditions of Employment**
- TOP Secret/SCI background investigation
- At least five years of experience managing or supervising IT professionals. Proven ability to lead, develop, and oversee the daily activities of a diverse IT workforce who have an array of skill sets and experience, and foster a cooperative work environment.
- At least five years of experience designing and supporting network infrastructure, with an understanding of network management, architecture and infrastructure, experience with Cisco technologies preferred.
- A strong understanding of cloud computing and technology systems. Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure preferred.
- At least five years of experience managing IT projects and a strong customer service orientation.
- At least three years of experience preparing or providing input into an IT budget-including budget analysis, preparation, and justification (preferably in the federal government), and knowledge of federal contracts.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related IT field; an advanced degree in computer science or technology management is desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance.
