We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier and Stocker to join our team in Austin. In this dual role, you will provide excellent customer service at the checkout counter while also ensuring shelves are stocked and organized. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- **Stocking and Merchandising**:

- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overstock situations.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing stock in the storage area.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, and stockroom.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- **Customer Focus**: A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine interest in helping customers.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal communication skills. Ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in handling cash transactions and restocking products.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- **Team Player**: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
