**Position Overview**: SugarPlum Nannies is seeking a Full-Time Nanny in Sharon, MA, committed to delivering exceptional childcare for a family with a two-year-old. This role is pivotal in nurturing the children's development and ensuring their well-being. We are looking for an individual who embodies adaptability, a relaxed demeanor, and a proactive attitude, while also appreciating and integrating parental guidance.

**Location**: Sharon, MA

**Start Date**: June 10, 2024

**Working Hours**:
Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

**Hours Total**: 50 hours

**Preferred Commitment**: One year

Compensation: $30-33 per hour

**Benefits**:
2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) 5 sick days Federal holidays

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care to the children, prioritizing their safety and overall well-being throughout the day.
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity, and social interaction, tailored to the child's interests and developmental stage.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Supervise and participate in outdoor play.
- Establish and maintain a consistent naptime schedule.
- Maintain a formal log to document daily activities, including bathroom breaks, nap times, and meals, while also utilizing text messages for inquiries and updates. Additionally, share photos and videos to keep parents informed and engaged in their child's experiences.
- Encourage creativity through arts and crafts projects, coordinate visits to playgrounds and parks, and incorporate storytime into the daily routine.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience of two years as a nanny or in a childcare-related role.
- Genuine love and passion for working with young children.
- Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Clear driving record and background check
- Great 3 references provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
