**Description**
- As a Food Service Worker, you will perform a variety of duties in the assembly, delivery, and service of patient's meals. Duties include the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Assemble meal trays accurately and presentably while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Present menus to patients and assist them with menu selections as needed.
- Distribute menus according to diet master list.
- Collect trays after each meal and deliver food cart to the elevators.
- Prepare and deliver snacks to patients.
- Maintain proper sanitation practices in food handling and equipment use.
- Work in dish room, pot room, and perform housekeeping duties.
Salary Range: $19.47- $23.71 Hourly
**Qualifications**
- Ability to follow standardized recipes.
- Knowledge of general and nutrient modified diets.
- Able to read and write standard English.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or wet areas; lift 40 pounds, push/pull loaded carts weighing 350 pounds.
- Ability to conform to dress code, per infection prevention policies and procedures.
- Ability to practice safe food handling techniques.
- Must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
