**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
A licensed Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for the delivery of patient care by following the treatment plan and communicating patient status changes as necessary. You are responsible for providing physical therapy to patients throughout their lifespan as well as age-specific direct care services to this population. In this role, you will participate in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization.
- You will communicate and assist in resolving problems.
- You will demonstrate effective resource utilization, which is critical to operational stability within the organization.
- You will participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.

**What qualifications you will need**:

- 2 Year Associates Degree
- Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- BLS certification
- 1-3 years of experience preferred

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility in Okeechobee County. We offer inpatient and outpatient services. We are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center. We provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our Hospital’s surgical services include mínimally invasive procedures. HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a community hospital with state-of-the-art practices.
