**Pool Host - Seasonal**

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and check-in guests with a pleasant smile and superior service adhering to The William Vale hospitality standards.
- Provide service, information, amenities, and instructions for pool usage.
- Process payments for cabana/day bed rental, sauna/hot tub and retail items and pool day passes.
- Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
- Assist guests with all requests.
- Responsible for courteous and efficient responses at all times.
- Ensure a pleasant stay at the pool area.
- Ensure all guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules and regulations of the facility.
- Responsible for maintaining a secure environment by immediately reporting any accident or injuries to the department heads.
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

**Skills**
- Proactive approach to problem resolution, including: anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as needed. Contribute to short term and long term problem solving.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Outstanding organizational and time management processes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Guest Service/Host experience required.
- Hotel experience a plus.
- Ability to carry, pull and push lounge chairs as well as other pool deck equipment such as towel bins, weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Able to withstand prolonged walking, standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
- Able to work outdoors in seasonal heat (100F+) or cold as well as inclement weather.
- Capacity to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
