**PURPOSE**:To provide leadership the areas of worship, technology, communications, and production. This position also provides technical support for church and preschool events.

**POSITION**:Full-time - 30 hours per week. Wednesday Night Practice (4 Hours) | Sunday Morning (5 Hours) Office hours (21 Hours)

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Aligning with Vision**:

- Ensure the Worship Arts ministry aligns with the overarching vision set by Central’s leadership and the Session.

**Planning and Design**:

- **Plan Purposefully**: Plan purposefully with a focus on who God is, what He has done, and what happens when we encounter His presence. Develop new series themes, incorporating lighting, graphics, fonts, backgrounds, and more.
- **Create Environments Conducive to Worship**:Implement creative elements into services that are captivating, relatable, and inspiring. Utilize images, lighting, music, and creativity to craft an atmosphere conducive to worship.
- Facilitate the planning and design of worship services that resonate with the vision set by the Session.
- Lead the implementation of creative elements to foster a warm, welcoming community atmosphere.

**Team Coordination**:

- Oversee schedules for contemporary worship leaders and participants.
- Coordinate with pastors to create cohesive worship service designs.
- Guide and conduct rehearsals for the contemporary worship team.

**Sunday Worship Services**:

- Direct and produce Sunday morning worship services.
- Provide oversight for the worship tech team.
- Ensure quality control during Sunday morning services.

**Collaboration and Development**:

- Collaborate with the Director of Traditional Worship to ensure thematic and creative cohesion across worship environments.
- Care for and develop team members.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Participate in weekly worship planning meetings.
- Assist in developing and producing special worship services and events.
- Ensure compliance with copyright and legal requirements.

**Required Skills**:

- Highly motivated and organized with a passion for intergenerational ministry.
- Appreciation and experience in both contemporary and traditional worship styles
- Collaborative team player with strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to assess congregation needs and guide them in their faith journey.
- Budget management skills.

**Qualifications**
- Five years in contemporary worship leadership in a large church.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Musical abilities with worship leadership experience.

**Experience**:
