Medical Assistant

Origins Spine and Joint Physicians is a new and growing specialty clinic in Athens, GA. We are looking for a Medical Assistant that is a team player, pays close attention to detail, and has a strong work ethic.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Patient intake
- Answering and returning phone calls
- Collecting and charting lab tests
- Assisting the doctor with minor office procedures
- Stocking supplies
- Placement and removal of IVs
- Procedure and medication prior authorizations

Education
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Medical Assistant training required; certification a plus
- BLS Certification (required)
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
