_A reputable private preschool in Encino is looking for teachers who are nurturing, patient and experienced in caring for infants and toddlers._
- **Must have**:_

- **Have experience in soothing children when distressed.**_
- **Treat the children with respect.**_
- **Partner with families to make sure their children are receiving quality care in line with the parents' needs and licensing regulations.**_
- **Qualifications and Skills required**:_
- **A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education semester units (ECE) (3 units in infant/toddler studies)**_
- **A**_ _**minimum of 2 years experience working with babies **_
- **If offered the position, you must provide**:_ _**A current TB test**_
- **Proof of immunity against Pertussis, Measles, and the Flu**_ _**A background check and fingerprint clearance (as required by the Department of Social Services)**_
- **CPR and First Aid certification**_
- **Some of a Teacher's Job Responsibilities Include**:_
- **-Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents/caregivers**_
- **-Create activities that are safe, fun and educational for the children**_
- **-Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters and environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child**_
- **-Deliver reports on child's day as well as potential concerns about students to administration as needed**_
- **-Manage day-to-day classroom activities including activity plans, free play, snack/lunch time, rest time for students, feedings, etc.**_

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
