As the Medical Records Director at Sandstone Healthcare Group, you will play a key role in overseeing the management and organization of medical records within our skilled nursing facility in Arizona.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Oversight**:

- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient management of medical records in accordance with Sandstone Healthcare Group's standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to health information.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of medical records professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records.
- **Technology Management**:

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health information systems, ensuring alignment with Sandstone Healthcare Group's technology standards.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in health information management and recommend updates as needed.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records, implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sandstone Healthcare Group's quality assurance teams to enhance overall departmental efficiency.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate seamless information flow.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in medical records management, with a focus on skilled nursing facilities.
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- ICD 10 coding experience
- Supervising experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in health information systems and electronic health records.
