Description:
Lead a dynamic team for an iconic Chicago pizza brand. General Managers oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including finance, guest and teammate satisfaction, food quality, and facility maintenance. General Managers collaborate with restaurant operations to roll out new products, marketing initiatives, and facility upgrades.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support positive teammate relations, fair treatment, and respect in all aspects of interaction with teammates; address employee concerns/requests in a timely and caring manner; ensure all teammates and ideas are respected and valued and their unique and diverse perspectives are leveraged to improve business results.
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, county, municipal, state, and federal regulations and requirements that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.
- Use key leadership skills to remove conflict and build a high-performing team.
- Consistently adhere and model Home Run Inn’s purpose and values.
- Lead and direct the workforce in problem identification, problem-solving, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
- Oversee training and development of employees. Ensure all employees complete required training within established deadlines.
- Administer all policies and procedures set forth by Home Run Inn. Promote fair and consistent adherence to all departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
- Establish and communicate performance metrics, standards, and objectives; conduct performance reviews.
- Recommend salary adjustments, promotions, transfers, disciplinary action, and terminations.
- Counsel teammates on educational and skill-boosting opportunities that will enhance their career development. Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Conduct weekly Manager meetings to review KPI’s and execute committed actions to meet objectives.
- Ensure KPI Boards are updated weekly.
- Attend weekly meetings and scheduled cross-functional meetings.
- Validate weekly work schedules to ensure that all forecasting and labor tools are used to meet established KPI’s.
- Responsible for proactive communication to teammates via pre-shift meetings. Ensure 14 pre-shift meetings are conducted each week.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcomed and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Act as community liaison for community events.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards, including controlling food cost variance.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, labor, service, team health, quality, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness of facility through training of teammates and creating a positive, and productive working environment.
- Enforce and adhere to restaurant policies and procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Ensure timely completion of required paperwork in compliance with internal procedures.
- Ensure that company vehicles and building equipment are kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure that all products are received and stored correctly per restaurant policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of prior Supervisory/Management experience in a restaurant setting.
- Must be able to continuously work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- As an exempt status employee, hours may range from 45 - 50 hours per week.
- Must obtain state and local certifications within 30 days of employment and maintain throughout.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals.
- Must have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment**.
