Histology Technician Trainee

Located in Novato, California, Borsting Laboratories is an established provider of histology services to dermatologists nationwide. This position is a training position and does not require any prior experience. You will work under direct supervision and will be trained to perform all phases of histological specimen preparation (including, but not limited to, trimming, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and special stains, coverslipping and slide labeling). Once necessary competency is acquired, you will then transition into a regular position within the lab.

**Education & Experience**

Associate degree in a related science field is preferred

General lab experience, knowledge of pathology and histology a plus

Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to stay focused
