Housekeeping/custodian

**Job purpose**

Keep building clean and in an orderly condition by performing cleaning duties

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Cleaning and stocking of supplies daily within all bathrooms
- Disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors
- Refill soap dispensers
- Cleaning and stocking of supplies daily to all employee lunchrooms
- Disinfect sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves
- Empty waste bins and add new liners
- Weekly interior cleaning of refrigerators and freezers; removal of old, outdated food
- Vacuuming daily debris from all carpeted floors
- Disinfectant mopping of all hard floor and tiled areas
- Sweeping of all hard floors and tiled areas
- Dusting furniture
- Cleaning of windows accessible to housekeeper
- Maintain the inventory of cleaning and paper supplies and notify HR when supplies need to be replenished
- Weekly watering of office plants
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to HR or Maintenance department
- Comply with all safety policies and procedure relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting
- All other duties as requested or assigned

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience within the field of housekeeping and or professional cleaning preferred
- Self-Starter - able to identify tasks that should be done and do it without being instructed
- Attention to detail
- Able to manage time effectively
- Reading skills for following instructions
- Basic Math skills for measuring cleaning fluids

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
